The Ariel Glaser Pediatric Aids Healthcare Initiative is an affiliate of Elizabeth Organized is Tanzania led and managed national organizations on HIV and AIDS and other related health programs. The AGAPAHI implement all its programs in collaborations with Tanzania Government Entities through the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children and president Office – Regional Administrations and Local Government and other. AGAPAHI supports the provisions of the high quality of HIV and other health services and ensures that effort are well-integrated into existing and district health system
POSITION: REGIONAL COORDINATOR (3)
DUTY STTAIONS: GEITA, MARA, TANGA
The Regional program coordinator is responsible for the leadership, coordinating and management of the technical team staff in their regions with the main objectives to being ensure highest attainable technical performance to ensure quality services are provided in the AGAPAHI supported programs
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· To coordinate the planning and monitoring of AGAPAHI supported projects
· To collaborate with regional and district to provide technical assistance to AGPAHI support ideas
· Facilitate the timely implementations of activities for AGPAHI supported projects though effective coordination of AGPAHI program officer
· Coordinate visit to AGPAHI supported sites by donors , AGPAHI senior officials and other stakeholders as needed
· Coordinate the development of donors reports to AGPAHI supported projects with timely submission to supervision
· In collaborations with strategy information’s or unit oversee the implement of data analysis continuously quality improvement and quality assurance activities
· Attend the stakeholders and donor meeting as required by supervisor
· Coordinate continuous medical educations of AGPAHI program staff and documentations of the best practice /lesson learned
· Perform any other task as may be assigned
QUALIFICATTIONS
· Degree in medicine or social sciences , masters degree in Public health is an added advantage
· 3 years working in NGO implementing health related projects
· Over 2 years of experience implanting HIV and DIDS related initiatives
· Experience in supervising staff with good communicating skills and ability to effectively manage time
· Computer skills with experience of using MS Office package
· Knowledge of HIV and AIDS current national guidelines, policies and standards operating procedure
· Knowledge of HIV and AIDS national reporting system and quality assurance
· Experience in facilitating related trainings
