New Job Vacancy: BRANCH MANAGER 2 Positions at Maendeleo Bank Plc: Deadline 21th July 2016

Maendeleo Bank Plc commenced operations in September 2013 as a Regional Bank with its Headquarters at Luther House, Sokoine Drive - Dar es Salaam. It is the first bank in Tanzania to be registered in Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) from its inception through Enterprise Growth Market (EGM) window. In its efforts to expand and strengthen its operations, the Bank wishes to recruit self motivated, result oriented and suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions:


1. BRANCH MANAGER 2 Positions
Job Summary: Reporting to Operations and IT Manager, the position will be responsible for managing branch on daily basis to deliver business growth, excellent customer service, operational compliance, staff performance and development:  
Key Accountabilities  

1. Take leading role in mobilizing deposits and growing income through recruitment of customers. 

2.Responsible for credit processing and portfolio quality management at the branch. 

3. Create and analyze management intomiation system reports 

4. Preparing budget and projections for the branch business. 

5. Makes certain that all branch operations are performed in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures, either directly or through appropriate supervisor, e.g. back office balancing, control of vautt cash, etc. make recommendations for changeslimprovements as appropriate. 

6. Support staff skills development with a foctis on strong customer relationship 

7. Being attentive to the needs and expectations of customers and opportunities to Improve service quality thus ensuring that their needs are fulfilled and that appropriate resources are performing the required follow up. 

8. Review and ensure application of lending policies, procedures and internal controls on a regular basis and submit appropriate improvement plans and strategies for review and approval. 

9. Perform any other duties. 

Minimum Qualifications and Expetience Required: 

Holder of a University Degree in a business related field from a recognized institution, the person should have a minimum of 5 years proven experience in branch and operations management, 2 of which must be at a senior branch level and should be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, passion and commitment to quality service performance, Excellent organizational, planning and analytical skills and ability to work well under pressure with strict deadlines and limited supervision.
