Description
To effectively manage the Clearing and Payment Unit of Central Service Delivery in accordance to laid down processes and procedures in order to manage operational risk and enhance bank's profitability, reputation and quality customer service
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Processing of outward and inward clearing instruments.
Proper filling of all corresponces and all other supporting documents on daily basis.
Balancing of sunspace account as per laid down procedures.
Processing of unpaid cheques and advising customers.
Manage entries regarding teller's shortages & excess on cash deposit at BOT and advising respective branches.
Responding to client queries relating to the clearing through customer services department.
Reconciliation of BOT main account on outstanding items.
Operating of MICR system as per laid down procedures.
Ensure implementation and monitor compliance in relation to money laundering prevention ( AML & KYC) as specified by group policy and standards and local regulation.
Qualifications and Skills
Graduate or its equivalent with at least one year Bank experience
A minimum of C in both English and Mathematics at O-level
Adequate knowledge of Ebbs System.
Good understanding of Clearing Rules and Regulations
Logical with an accurate eye for detail.
Proactive, flexible and resilient team player
Practical working knowledge of SCB, banking guidelines and BOT regulations.
Highly customer focused
High level of interpersonal and communication skills - Listening, negotiating.
Capable of prioritizing own and others workload
Planning & co-ordination skills
Project management skills
Computer literacy.
