Invitations for Bids at ATIONAL EXAMINATIONS COUNCIL OF TANZANIA

 

This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in UNDB on line issue No 807 of 6th September, 2011, dg market of September 2011, Daily News 20th September, 2011 and the East African Business Week of 19th -25th September, 2011.

The Government of Tanzania has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Secondary Education Development Programme- SEDP II, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Supply ICT Multimedia Facilities for Twenty Nine (29) selected secondary school to be used as Education training Centers.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for:-

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) a procedure specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below: “Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Old UTS Building Room No.7, 7Magogoni Street, P.O. Box 9121, 11479 DAR ES SALAAM”from 7:30 am to 3:30pm on working days, except Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to “Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, 7Magogoni Street, P.O. Box 9121, 11479 DAR ES SALAAM” and upon payment of a non refundable fee Tshs 100,000.00 (Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousands Only) or equivalent. Payment should be either by Banker’s Draft, Cash or Banker’s Cheque, to: The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education,Science and Technology, 7Magogoni Street, P.O. Box 9121, 11479 DAR ES SALAAM

Bids in one original and two copies accompanied by a bid security declaration must be delivered to “Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Old UTS Building Room No.7, Magogoni Street, and P.O .Box 9121, DAR ES SALAAM” at or before 10:00 Am on Friday 16th September, 2016. Electronic bidding will not be permitted.  

Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at MoEST Conference Room main Building 1st Floor ,7Magogoni Street, P.O. Box 9121, 11479 DAR ES SALAAM at 10:00 hours local time on Friday 16th September, 2015.
