The incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day activities of repairs and maintenance of HQ NMB buildings.
Core responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and manage an effective electrical, plumbing and Air conditioning maintenance programs, so that it complies with legal and operational requirements.
- Co-ordinate regular surveys of NMB’s mechanical and electrical systems to ensure that maintenance requirements are comprehensively identified and rectified.
- To ensure efficient and un-interrupted operations of the building
- To ensure fire escapes are kept clear and not blocked to enable safe evacuation during emergencies and conformity with OSHA Regulations
- To manage inventory of tools and supplies to enable and facilitate movement and control of the same
- To manage power consumption
- To produce performance reports for all services in the building
- Coordinates all facilities management issues with building vendors to ensure efficient and un-interrupted operations of the building.
- Checks that agreed work by maintenance team or contractor has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies.
- Monitors performance of service providers for maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, security, etc. so as to achieve agreed service levels and to lead on improvement.
- Carries out inspection of the buildings and ensures that all construction snags are identified, recorded and submitted to the contractor for rectification within defect liability period.
- Ensures that plants and equipment and other facilities in the buildings are working properly.
- Ensures the buildings meets health and safety requirement

Qualifications & Experience:
- Advanced Diploma /Bachelor’s degree in the field of Land management and valuation, facilities management, electrical engineering or its equivalent
- At least 3 years in Property / Estate Management
