person to till in the following post: 
Job Title: Administration and Logistics Coordinator
Work Station: Dar es Salaam, Head Office
Reports to: Head of Human Resources and Organization Development
Department: Human Resources and Organization Development (HROD)
Job Role:
To develop, implement and monitor administrative and logistics plans, ensure administration and logistics related policies and procedures are performed effectively and efficiently at national office, local rights programs and projects and ensure organizational contracts and agreements related to administration and logistics are well managed
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate procurement cycle by planning and delivering on head office and local rights programs and project procurement needs , including negotiating with suppliers and service 'providers: to ensure value for money procurement decisions
Organize and facilitate logistics supports to head office and local rights programs including accessing vehicles and hosting guests
Manage organisational fleet, drivers and fuel procurement including liaison with insurance and legal advisors in cases of road traffic accident reporting, court cases, loss and damage claims
Facilitate visa processes and work permits for visitors and expatriate working with AATZ
Supervise and coach the Front desk Officer to ensure efficient booking of flights, accommodation, meeting room venue hire and mail management
Ensure appropriate supply, insurance and maintenance office premises, vehicles, furniture and equipment
Maintain the organization's asset inventory and movement and initiate organisational asset disposal process
Responsible for implementing office security procedures, including management of security staff and occupational health and safety procedures and equipment. 
Participate in organisation's annual planning and budgeting processes
Line and performance manage all staff under administration and logistics unit including assessment of training and development needs
Follow up the renewal of AA TZ'S registration with NGO board and relevant government institutions.
Qualification and Experience
A Bachelor's Degree in Materials/Supply Management, Business
Administration or Public Administration with post graduate studies in related fields
Training in;
• Basic computer on word processing and excel
• Procurement and Logistics Management and Liaison. CPSP is added advantage
• Minimum three (3) years' experience in materials and service procurement and management and Liaising from a reputable organization. An NGO experience is an added value.
Essential Knowledge;
• Public procurement and disposal of public assets
• Procurement processes in donor funded projects and EU guidelines
• Contracting for goods and services
• Knowledge of Commodities and Monetization regulations and procedures
• Knowledge of CPS policies and practices
Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent active listening skills: giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at in appropriate times.
• Above average active learning skills: understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
• Good complex problem solving skills: identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Good critical thinking skills: using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Good judgment and decision making skills: considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose· the most appropriate one.
• Good monitoring skills: monitoring/assessing performance of self, other individuals, and systems to make improvement or take corrective action.
• Good English language writing skills: communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
