The Ariel Glaser Pediatric Aids Healthcare Initiative is an affiliate of Elizabeth Organized is  Tanzania led and managed national organizations on HIV and AIDS and other related health programs.  The AGAPAHI implement all its programs in collaborations with Tanzania Government Entities through the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children and president Office – Regional Administrations and Local Government and other. AGAPAHI supports the provisions of the high quality of HIV and other health services and ensures that effort are well-integrated into existing and district health system

POSITION:  PROGRAM OFFICER, REPRODUCTIVE AND CHILD HEALTH (7)
DUTY STATIONS:    GEITA, MWANZA, MARA
PURPOSE OF THE POST
Program officer, reproductive child and health is a self motivated who will provide oversight and technical assistance to enable the provide quality comprehensive implementations of PCMTCT/REPRODUCTIVE, Child health activities in respective district in collaborations with  R/MCHTMTs . S/HE will be required to provide clinical advice and direct in the implementations of scaling s up to PMTCT/RCH, pediatric HIV, HEEID services adolescence services and crevice cancer screening and follow up services within AGPHAI

Principal functions
•    Assist in coordinating  of PMTCT/RCH pediatric HIV, HEEID services adolescence services and cervical cancer screening and follow up services in the programs
•    Coordinate the management of PCMTCT/RCH pediatric HIV/HEED services adolescence service and cervical cancer screening and follow up related activities within AGPAHI  implementations
•    Provide technical inputs and assistance to health facilities and AGPHAI staff
-    Visit health facilities and provide onsite technical assistance to health facilities and project  staff including sit in approach site at the clinic day on PMTCT /RCH and pediatric issues
-    In collaborations with  CMTs identify the site staff training needs organize and facilitate  pediatric  HIV and AIDS training when deemed necessary
•    Facilitate monitoring and evaluations of our subject grantees
-    To perform a systematic supervision of M&E  system and to make the effective use of M&E data to monitor performance and to provide feedback
-    Make use of CTC 2 AND GLASER data base to monitor and performance of sub grantee
-    Assist with quarterly preparations of C&T, PMTCT/RCH AND LIFE reports when necessary
•    Facilitate communications with partners and donors
-    Acts  as the main contact person for the sub granted to coordinate the communications between the sub granted, field office and other program staff on PCMTCT/RCH , adolescence , pediatric, and necessary
•    Reflective practice and organizations
-    Identify, document and share the various treatment model and their effectiveness with key lesson learnt on productive maternal, neonatal and adolescence care treatment from partner treatment facilities
QUALITIES AND SKILLS 
Advanced diploma I or degree in medical related field preference will be given to the following
-    Minimum  3 years experience in HIV/AIDS care and treatment programs
-    Experience in RMNA activities, PMCTC/RCH and pediatric HIV/AIDS programs
-    Clinical experience of RCH and pediatric HIV/AIDS management
