The Salvation Army has been in Tanzania for over
80 years. Throughout the country and present in more than 150 locations,
the Army brings the Good News of Jesus Christ. The headquarters are
found at The Salvation Army Mgulani compound, Kurasini, Dar es Salaam.
The work done by over 300 staff and thousands of volunteers is funded by
Tanzanian and Overseas sponsors. Through church programme, schools,
institutions and extensive community development work, The Salvation
Army aims “to bring people to a living faith in Jesus Christ through
preaching the gospel, teaching and modeling holy living, and meeting
physical need without discrimination.” The well-known Matumaini School
for Children with Disabilities in Mgulani, Dar es Salaam, is also
operated by The Salvation Army. Candidates should understad dappacte

POST: PROPERTY MANAGER
DUTIES
To coordinate and follow up on land and other property issues of The
Salvation Army throughout Tanzania in an efficient and effecUve way,
making maximum use of recent improved property registration procedures.
The position is based at Territorial Headquarters Dar es Salaam and the
job requires travelling.
QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor degree in either Law
or Real Estate Management with some years’ professional experience in
property management.
English language skills, negotiation techniques and computer skills are important.
