The University of Dar es Salaam through her Department of Water Resources
Engineering and her local partner, the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare in
partnership with Lund University Centre for Sustainability Studies (LUCSUS) in
Sweden has recently been granted funds to implement the program titled ‘Sustainable
Sanitation in Theory and Action – SUSTAIN’ project number 2240-2014 for the period
of five years (2015 – 2020). The project is to be implemented within the framework of
strengthening capacity in postgraduate research with the financial support from SidaSweden,
University of Dar es Salaam and Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
