Job Description
Your primary objective will be to help ensure accurate reporting of
both financial and program data in order to help us remain compliant
with external requirements. You will serve in a career-track position

- Creating and understanding reports: The Corporate Tax & Compliance Associate will help create reports from our accounting and client management systems, working with program staff to make our data useful and actionable for external compliance purposes.
- Documentation: The Corporate Tax & Compliance Associate will be responsible for documenting quarterly audit findings and reporting these to management. Researching proper accounting treatment and documenting in memo format will be a key function.

Job Description
Acting as a strategic member of the Legal Department and as a partner to country and departmental leadership, the Counsel will work to identify and understand any existing and potential weaknesses across all program areas and lead the fight against fraud and corruption at One Acre Fund. This position will actively manage our existing Kenya investigations team. This team has two main areas of responsibility:
Internal investigations: In addition to conducting field investigations regarding potential fraud and/or misappropriation, our investigations team collaborates with the HR and Field teams to codify, document, and maintain policies and procedures that guide routine investigative and disciplinary actions. We also advise on program design in order to limit opportunities for loss.
Preemptive anti-corruption training: In addition to conducting investigations concerning current occurrences, the investigations team also designs and delivers targeted trainings addressing the specific fraud opportunities to various teams in an effort to decrease adverse occurrences significantly.
To support these activities, the Counsel will help recruit, manage, and develop a large team of experienced local and international staff that will assist with these investigative and communications goals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

One Acre Fund’s US Managing Director coordinates the six global support functions that operate out of the US, manages One Acre Fund’s global boards, manages a portfolio of critical donor and partner relationships, and represents One Acre Fund in a variety of external contexts.
