Mtwara Urban Water and Sanitation Authority (MTUWASA)
The Mtwara Urban Water and Sanitation Authority (MTUWASA) is a
legally established entity responsible for overall operations and
management of water supply and sanitation services in Mtwara
Municipality. The core function of the Authority is to deliver excellent
water supply and sanitation services for all categories of customers
and stakeholders in I Mtwara Municipal. In order to attain its vision
and mission, MTUWASA is seeking to recruit a dynamic, experienced,
competent and qualified Tanzanian to fill the following vacant posts:
Commercial Manager – 1 POST
Appointing Authority: Board of Directors
Reports to: Managing Director
Employment Terms: Four Years Contract – Renewable.
Remuneration:
An attractive salary and remuneration in line with the MTUWASA Scheme of Service and Salary Structure will be offered the right candidate, having relevant qualifications, required skills and experience. The successful candidate will be the Head of Commercial Department.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Head of Commercial Department responsible for Water sales and Revenue Collection, Billing, Customer
• Relations matters and Customer data management.
• Ensuring carrying customer data collection to satisfy customer demand
• Establishing policies for making water customers satisfied with the Authority’s services (e.g. promotional/advertisement activities for the urban population)
• Making sure that the customers are informed of all development with regards to water and sewerage ~ services
• Managing proper procedure for acquisition of new customers (potential customers)
• Monitors and reviews business performance
• Maintaining good customer service in dealing with internal and external customers
Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience
• Holder of Form IV / VI certificate.
• Holder of Master Degree in Marketing/Business Administration/Economics.
• Work Experience of Not less than five (5) years proven working experience in Managing Business
• Operations in a reputable organization.
• Age limit – not less than 35 years old.
