Role overview
The VSO Tanzania secure livelihoods program is now launching a project named Raise Income for School Education (RISE) in the Muleba District area of the Kagera region in the north-eastern part of Tanzania country. The project aims to improve the quality of education for children and improving the income of their parents.
Provide capacity building to RISE project team, partner organizations (KAVIPE, Muleba District Council, School committees and management, Parent Association and Ibuga SACCOs) on fundraising or community mobilization. The capacity building will be done through coaching, mentoring, advice and training.
Skills, qualifications and experience required
Provide capacity building to RISE project team, partner organizations (KAVIPE, Conduct Research in order to establish/assess the key market actors and to develop a better understanding of the key market challenges in the maize, beans, dairy and any other key crops. Propose a microfinancing scheme which best serve the needs of smallholders
Due to the funding of this project, only Dutch volunteers will be accepted.
